The Gamekeepers Secret is situated in Rockbank, a wine growing region on the outskirts of Melbourne. The surrounding vineyards provide a picturesque backdrop to this English Style Pub and its manicured gardens established in 1996.

The Hotel's charming façade is further complimented by the interior which features cosy booths, a polished wooden bar and tables and a large open fireplace. A myriad of paintings, photographs, antiques and other knick knacks are scattered throughout the hotel inviting closer inspection and giving a hunting, shooting and fishing theme, an overall impression of warmth and charm.

This impression is cemented upon being greeted by our small and friendly team. All our staff have exceptional knowledge of the hotel (inclusive of the menu, wine list, special events and promotions) and the local area and pride themselves on providing our guests with an enjoyable and memorable experience.

The Pub is open seven days a week for a quiet drink, serving both lunch and dinner or just coffee and cake, or if you enjoy the place jumping come in on Friday or Saturday evening when we have live entertainment. We also have a billiard table and a wide screen Television.



Our menu changes seasonally and aims to cater for all tastes. We have an extensive menu with everything from hearty English fare, game dishes, fresh seafood, vegetarian dishes and a large range of gluten free dishes clearly marked on the menu, no one goes hungry. And no one goes thirsty either with a full array of local and imported beers, a small but comprehensive wine list (special emphasis placed on locally grown wines) and a variety of cocktails and mocktails on offer.

On Sundays for lunch we offer a traditional three course carvery, with our chef on hand to carve your selection of roast meats, making it a great family day.
